Meet the Vicar:

|
A native of Wisconsin who grew up in Illinois and Tennessee, the Rev. Stephen E. Stults is a graduate of the University of the South, in Tennessee. Fr. Stults also studied Britain in the Renaissance and Reformation Church History at Oxford University. He and his family joined St. Thomas of Canterbury RE Church in Houston, TX, in 1994, while he was still in a career in the insurance and financial services field. At St. Thomas, he served in many capacities as a layman, including vestryman, lay reader, and youth group sponsor. Fr. Stults later left his career to pursue seminary studies. After over four years of study under the Bishop and Rector, he was made a perpetual Deacon in 2001. He then continued his theological studies at Cranmer Theological House in Houston, earning an M.Div. in May 2009. He was ordained as a Priest in October 2006 at St. Thomas of Canterbury and came to St. Barnabas in early 2008. Father Stults and his wife Della have two children. |
